The Accidental Beekeeper

About twenty years ago I agreed to let a co-worker put a beehive on my family farm. I didn’t plan to be responsible for it, but when life kept him from tending to it, I became a beekeeper. I came to realize how connected the bees’ world is to ours – any changes to our environments affect their environment as well. I began to think about the foods we eat, the chemicals we use the impact these factors have on the bees and on us. That’s when I had the idea to make natural body care products out of beeswax and natural oils that come from the hive and the earth. These products are good for both my family and the world.
