Hi, I’m Elizabeth, 39-year-old beauty and wellness enthusiast and mom to 10-year-old Olivia.

My daughter grew up to have the same wild, wavy, prone to tangling hair. When she was little, we used a comb to untangle her hair. The result was that bath time became quite unpleasant for everyone.

She spent the whole time crying about how we were pulling her hair and hurting her, and we spent the whole time pleading with her about how we had to untangle her hair. We felt like horrible parents, but what were we supposed to do? We couldn’t just leave it like that. Knotty hair isn’t a life-altering problem, but it can be incredibly frustrating and painful to deal with daily.

For us, it all came to a head one evening when I realized none of us were enjoying that wonderful moment of being together because of the discomfort and pain experienced. That’s when I decided to find a solution. Everything I’d tried on the market, combs, brushes, the works, were simply not good enough.

We needed something superior, that would meet all our needs, and make our life easier: easy to use on dry or wet hair, for all hair types, light, yet sturdy.

So, in 2015, I set up Ineffable Care, a small company born from the desire to create self-care products that meet all our needs, and provide solutions and improvements to everyday situations that people like you and I encounter.
